Due to unforeseen circumstances the workshop will be closed from Friday 13th June until Friday 20th June. Any orders received between those dates will be shipped on Monday 23rd June. Irons received for repair will be securely stored and will be repaired ready for return on the 23rd June or soon after.

When replacing the mains cable or mains socket a smear of Electrolube CG60 grease should be applied.

This is a highly specialized grease uniquely designed for this type of application.

This will allow your cable to rotate smoothly and will help prolong the life of your new mains cable and mains socket as fitted.

Apply a smear to the end of the cable as shown, then apply some of that grease to the socket by putting the cable end into the socket slightly and rubbing it around.

Then fully insert the mains cable into the socket to complete the process.

Wipe off any excess.

This applies to all models of GHD's.

We supply a small amount on a waxed piece of paper in a zip lock bag. This is more than enough for all cable and socket combinations.
