100kOhm at 25degC Thermistor. This is a bare thermistor suitable for GHD mk4 and mk5 hair straighteners.
This thermistor can be fitted to GHD 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, SS4.0, MS4.0, 5.0, SS5.0 and MS5.0 irons.
To use this to repair a pair of GHDs the wires will need forming, extending and insulating. This assembly will then need gluing to a heater element. The wires must have high temperature insulation (suitable for >200degC) and the extension wires must be crimped in place (as solder will soften and fail). Therefore using this component in not a simple job, but possible if you have the right experience and equipment.
The bead on this thermistor is about 4mm long by 1.8mm wide and the overall length is 60mm.
