Irons received for repair will be securely stored and will be repaired ready for return on the 23rd June or soon after.

70 Ohm replacement heater element removed from a pair of wide plate GHD SS4.0s or SS5.0's. This measures 20mm x 70mm which is larger than the elements used in 1" wide GHDs
This part is a genuine GHD part, however is of course 2nd hand.
For more details about GHD heater elements, please see our heaters page. Details of how to fit this component in GHD 3.1b's can be found here. These instructions are also basically correct for all models of GHD, however the parts may look slightly different.
We recommend renewing the thermal paste when fitting a new element. This is available as an extra with this item for £1.10
All heater resistance values are nominal. Heater resistances can vary plus/minus 10 ohms however this is normal and does not affect operation.
We now offer an Element Repair Service for all elements where one or both wires have broken off.
