This is the side without the switch PCB fitted in the lower arm.

The GHD Duet Style, GHD Platinum, GHD Platinum Plus are extremely difficult to work on, are easily damaged whilst being manipulated and even a mains cable change should not be undertaken unless you have excellent skills in this type of repair.
