Due to unforeseen circumstances the workshop will be closed from Saturday 30th August until Saturday 6th September. Any orders received between those dates will be shipped on Monday 8th September. Irons received for repair will be securely stored and will be repaired ready for return on the 8th September or soon after.

The GHD Chronos, Platinum and Platinum Plus are extremely difficult to work on, are easily damaged whilst being manipulated and even a mains cable change should not be undertaken unless you have excellent skills in this type of repair.
Unless your mains cable is clearly physically damaged replacing it is unlikely to help!Although there can be occasions when the item can turn on and off when the mains cable is flexed, in that case a replacement cable should be fine.
