Why have my GHDs just stopped working?

A good question with no simple answer other than a component has failed or worn out. However generally they can be repaired, even if out of warranty.

Electrical goods do fail, from televisions to vacuum cleaners. GHD straighteners are no different.

The problem could be the fuse in the mains plug, a damaged cable or a failure inside the irons.

Other than changing the mains fuse (3 or 5 Amp) there is little the average owner can do other than use our Repair Service or, if competent, check out our Repair Guides for information on repairing them yourself with parts available from our online shop.
