GHD SS2
Quick Links for this model - Electrical Debugging Guide, Cable replacement
This model is based upon the 3.1b GHD straighteners, but it has a wider heater plate. I've only seen them in black. "SS" stands for "Salon Stylers"
Like the 3.1B's, this model suffers from thermal fuse failures. The method for replacing the thermal fuse is very similar to the method for 3.1b's. Therefore the same how-to guide can be used.
The procedure for replacing the mains cable is just the same as for the GHD 3.1b straighteners and therefore you can follow this guide. New cables are available from the online shop.
