My daughter's MK5's were completely dead, initially replaced the thermal fuse but it wasn't that, then I discovered this website & realised it was the R8 R11 resistors, bought a pair which arrived the next day! 10 minutes soldering because I'm not very good & hey presto they're working perfectly again
