Used these and replaced both the cable socket and cable (root cause of the problem) to repair my teenage daughter's GHDs. Used the advice pages from this site to find and fix the fault. Ordered on Sunday - received on Tuesday.

Following your fault finding guide and video I managed to find a blown R8/11.
Ordered the parts straight away from you and received them quickly.

I have repaired my daughters straighteners, so she is a chuffy bunny. It was a bit tricky but certainly do-able with the correct tools.

With the help of the video's for 4.2 ghds found R 11 resistor open circuit. Ordered on Monday afternoon arrived Wednesday afternoon fitted now working. Thank you very much sister in law is happy.
