I ordered some R8 resistors mid afternoon friday ( after diagnosing the problem using your very informative website ) the resistors arrived saturday morning, fitted using your instructions ghd's, now up and running ( my daughters disappointed, she had her eye on on the limited edition scarlet ones )

You may have done so already but it would probably be a good idea to replace the cable also, as its problems there which tend to cause the R8 to blow.
