Making your own thermal Fuses

On making your own thermal fuses your cutting the old wire off the pot then crimping bootlace ferrules onto the wire to secure them,What shrink tubeing do you use over this ie: size,temp.and could you advise where one might purchase it.

Hi Robert,

I use kapton tape to insulate the crimps. This tape is also required to insulate the fuse itself.
