Just fitted a new thermal fuse to a pair of Mk4.0's. All seemed well, as they powered up and beeped (dead before replacement) however, when measuring the plate heats using a hand help gun, they seem to be getting very very hot. Got to around 270+ before I switched them off and let them cool down. Guessing this is probably what tripped the TF in the first place.
Any ideas what could cause this?? All I can think of is possible the thermistor
