Thermally Conductive Compound

Thermal "gunk" to apply conservatively to replacement heaters when they are fitted on to the metal plates in GHD straighteners. This gunk improves the thermal conductivity between the heater and the metal plate and thus improves the temperature distribution and the life of the heater.

This item consists of a ziploc bag with a small blob of the stuff. I would recommend applying it to the heater using a screw driver or equivalent. You don't need to use much - just enough to have a very thin even layer between the heater and the metal plate.
